Will Pepper Saigon Show

Two shows, both sold out, about a hundred people in each. That's every seat Shout Bar has, twice in one night, and one of the biggest sell-outs English stand-up in Saigon has ever had. We'd like to say we planned it. We mostly refreshed the MegaTix page and panicked.

The comedy gods also held off the rain all day, which in Saigon in October counts as a miracle and possibly a bribe. So nobody showed up soaked, and nobody had an excuse to stay home.

The crowd was the best part: expats and locals packed in together, laughing at the same jokes, which is the whole point of doing this. Matt Tran hosted, Stephen Vũ and Seth Kelly warmed the room up, and Will Pepper closed it out. Will's dad came up on stage too, and somehow didn't get roasted nearly as hard as he deserved.

Huge thanks to Shout Bar for giving us the room and putting up with two hundred people in one night. And thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, made the trip to Thảo Điền, and laughed loud enough to make the second show feel like the first. We're going to need a bigger venue.
